Barriers that exist between SCI women and Health Care Professionals

Could you help please?

My name is Belinda Afford, a Doctoral research student at Teesside University.  I am a HCPC registered Health Psychologist employed by the NHS as an Accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist and EMDR practitioner.

I am looking for interviewees for my research project to gain an insight into your views and experience of these discussions as HCPs working in SCI rehabilitation.  I will not ask for your place of employment.

I also have an anonymous survey online for SCI women as a part of the project with an invitation to take part in an interview.  Please could you tell SCI women about this anonymous survey and/or invitation to interview.  Link to SCI women’s survey: https://app.onlinesurveys.jisc.ac.uk/s/teesside/sci-women-s-survey

Please email me for an Information Sheet with further details about an interview at: C2988386@tees.ac.uk  or HCPs can use: belinda.afford1@nhs.net

Thank you
