This course explores contemporary rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury through the lens of the Bobath Concept and current evidence-based practice.
COURSE AIMS
Participants will explore:
- The relationship between posture and upper limb function
- Key components required for effective reach and grasp
- Analysis of movement and postural control in functional activity
- Modulation of tone to optimise movement and participation
- Clinical reasoning within upper limb rehabilitation in SCI
THE COURSE WILL INCLUDE
- Assessment and movement analysis
- Practical handling and treatment workshops
- Case discussion and clinical problem-solving
- Opportunities for peer discussion and shared
