Bobath Approach to Upper Limb & Postural Rehabilitation in Spinal Cord

This course explores contemporary rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injury through the lens of the Bobath Concept and current evidence-based practice.

COURSE AIMS

Participants will explore:

  • The relationship between posture and upper limb function
  • Key components required for effective reach and grasp
  • Analysis of movement and postural control in functional activity
  • Modulation of tone to optimise movement and participation
  • Clinical reasoning within upper limb rehabilitation in SCI

THE COURSE WILL INCLUDE

  • Assessment and movement analysis
  • Practical handling and treatment workshops
  • Case discussion and clinical problem-solving
  • Opportunities for peer discussion and shared
